House Rules
To ensure a pleasant and harmonious stay for all guests, we kindly request you to follow these simple guidelines. Athithi Homestay is a tranquil, nature-friendly property.
We believe in creating a warm, homely atmosphere while respecting the serenity of the coffee estates. Your cooperation helps us preserve the charm of Athithi Homestay.
Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in: 12:00 PM (Early check-in subject to availability)
- Check-out: 11:00 AM (Late check-out may incur extra charges)
- Guests are requested to present a valid government ID at check-in.
- Please inform us in advance if you require luggage storage.
Late check-out up to 2 PM: 50% of daily tariff, beyond that full day charge.
Peace & Quiet
- Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to respect nature and other guests.
- Loud music or parties are not permitted inside the property.
- Please use earphones for personal devices during late hours.
- We are a pet-friendly homestay but kindly keep pets leashed and clean after them.
Smoking & Alcohol
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and common indoor areas.
- Designated outdoor smoking areas are available (please ask the caretaker).
- Alcohol consumption is allowed only in private rooms or designated outdoor seating, but not in public areas.
- Please drink responsibly and avoid disturbing other guests.
Dining Rules
- Complimentary breakfast and dinner are served at fixed timings (8:30-10:00 AM and 7:30-9:00 PM).
- Outside food is not allowed in the dining area, but you may request packed meals for treks (advance notice).
- Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance.
- Leftover food should be disposed of properly; do not feed stray animals near rooms.
Safety & Security
- Keep your room doors and windows locked when unattended.
- The estate is surrounded by nature — avoid venturing into deep plantation areas without guidance.
- Please switch off lights, fans, and AC when you leave the room (eco-conscious homestay).
- Guests are responsible for their valuables; we provide lockers on request.
Children & Extra Persons
- Children under 6 years stay free (without extra bed).
- Extra mattress / bed: ₹800 + taxes per night.
- Parents are requested to supervise children at all times, especially near estate trails.
- No visitors allowed inside rooms without prior permission.
We love families — but kindly avoid loud play after 9 PM.

Damages & Liability
- Guests are liable for any damage caused to property, furniture, or decor.
- In case of accidental breakage, please inform the staff immediately — we will assess fairly.
- Missing keys or remotes will be charged as per actual replacement cost.
- Right to refuse service or evict guests violating house rules without refund.
