Cancellation & Refund Rules

Detailed Terms

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in: 95% refund (5% deduction for banking/processing charges).
  • Cancellations between 15 to 29 days before check-in: 75% of total booking amount refunded.
  • Cancellations between 7 to 14 days before check-in: 50% of total booking amount refunded.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before check-in: No refund.
  • No-shows or early checkout: No refund applicable.

Peak Season & Long Weekends

During Christmas, New Year, Ugadi, Diwali, and Republic Day weekend, cancellations made within 30 days of check-in will attract a 50% deduction. Within 15 days: no refund. Please check with us before booking during these dates.

Group Bookings (4+ rooms)

  • Group cancellations must be made 45 days prior for 90% refund.
  • Between 30-45 days: 50% refund.
  • Less than 30 days: No refund.

How to Cancel Your Booking

Please send a cancellation request via email to stay@athithi.in or call us at 099000 96828. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

Important: Any refund will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway charges (2-3% depending on the mode). For bookings made through third-party platforms (Agoda, Booking.com, etc.), their cancellation policy applies.

Unforeseen Circumstances (Force Majeure)

In case of natural calamities, government lockdowns, or extreme weather conditions affecting travel to Chikkamagaluru, we offer full credit valid for 6 months or 100% refund (excluding gateway fees). Prior documentation may be requested.

Date Modification Policy

If you wish to reschedule your stay:

  • Request made 15+ days prior to check-in: One free date change (subject to availability).
  • Request between 7-14 days: A fee of ₹500 per room applies.
  • Request within 7 days: Treated as cancellation; new booking required.
All date changes are applicable only for the same or higher season (rate difference may apply).
